Our team is made up of experienced licensed professionals. Collectively, we have decades of experience supporting infants, toddlers, and families and understand the importance of early intervention for children with developmental delays. We are eager to share our expertise to help you help your child achieve their fullest potential.

Cristina Hargitt

Program Coordinator, Speech-Language Pathologist

Experience

Cristina has worked in the field of early intervention for almost 19 years. Cristina is passionate about infant toddler development especially in the areas of feeding and swallowing, as well as evidence-based practices in early intervention. In addition to early intervention, Cristina also served as Infant Support Specialist partnering and supporting child care providers to build their capacities with infants and toddlers. Cristina currently supports her Early Intervention team to provide evidence-based practices to a variety of families, each other, and other professionals in early intervention.

Qualifications

B.S. in Speech Language Pathology, Fort Hays State University. M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, Fort Hays State University. ASHA CCC-SLP. KAIMH Infant Family Specialist & Endorsed Reflective Supervisor.

Personal

Cristina lives in the Flint Hills with her husband and two children. Together they enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling (especially to the beach), and hanging out with family and friends. Cristina enjoys reading, looking at the sunset/sunrise, running, and cookouts with friends.

Stephanie M Albright

Coordinator Assistant

Experience

Steph was a stay at home mom raising her boys until they were both in school. She then worked at Robert M Martin Elementary for 12 years as a Registrar, Office Assistant and District ESOL Data Coordinator.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Agribusiness from Kansas State University.

Personal

Steph and her husband, Marty, have recently moved back to the Wamego/Manhattan area after living in the Andover/Wichita area for the last 23 years, where they raised their two boys, Brett and Blake. She and her husband enjoy all things Kstate, traveling and walking their dogs.

Kylie Weber

Physical Therapist

Experience

Kylie has been a physical therapist for over 10 years and has worked in early intervention for over 5 years. Prior to working with infant/toddler services, Kylie worked near Wichita as a school based physical therapist. She is passionate about helping children thrive in their natural environment and empowering parents in supporting their child's development.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences from Bethel College Doctor of Physical Therapy from Wichita State University

Personal

Kylie lives in the Flint Hills and enjoys slowing down on the weekends with her husband and two boys. She spends her free time baking sourdough goodies in her kitchen, soaking up the sun outside, and watching her chickens.

Mecate Thomas

Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

Experience

MeCate is an early childhood education teacher. She has had comprehensive Training in all areas of child development.

Bachelor’s of science in Early Childhood Special Education

Personal

MeCate has lived in Pottawatomie county for the past 3 years. MeCate enjoys being outside playing with her dog, going on walks or spending time at the lake.

Olivia Garrett

Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

Experience

Olivia is in her second year of being an early interventionist but prior to this, she worked with children and families in a variety of settings including being a SPED teacher, a technology and STEM teacher, a director of education at a children's museum, and a children's librarian. She is currently working towards being a certified lactation consultant. Olivia is dedicated to empowering caregivers and families with supporting their children with their individual needs.

Personal

Olivia has been a part of the Wamego community for over 13 years and enjoys antique shopping, experimenting in her kitchen and garden, as well as sitting on the porch with her family.
